The Headland Medical Centre in Hartlepool is a modern clinic which has been featured on the BBC and in the local newspaper, The Hartlepool Mail. The Clinic has been visited by Hartlepool's local MP, Iain Wright and Minister for Health, Rosie Winterton in June 2007. During her visit Ms Winterton praised the Headland Clinic and was impressed by the facility and the services provided by the clinic.
The Headland Medical Centre is a modern facility which has a purpose built Operating Theatre for Microsurgery, equipped with latest top of the range Zeis OPMI microscope, Olympus BX45 table top microscope for semen analysis during the surgery and microsurgical instruments.
The Recovery Suite is comfortable and equipped with modern monitoring devices. The recovery suite is an area where patients can be monitored while they rest following their operation and anaesthetic is allowed to wear off.
The clinic has a dedicated team with a wealth of experience of operating on and in the monitoring of patients. The staff are specially trained for Microsurgical Reversal of vasectomies and No needle, No stitch and No scalpel vasectomies.
We specialise in re-do operations ( Failed reversal operations attempted by others) and Vasoepididyostomy. Sperm aspiration and freezing can be arranged at an extra cost.
